I once heard of a story of a priest who had previously been rather wayward. As he taught his newfound faith, members of the congregation would look at him and his mistakes and call him hypocrite. He’d respond to the people, “judge me and condemn me all you like, but not the path I choose. I am trying” I try again every day, but I could oft be called a hypocrite for the mistakes I make, too. But I am in the process of changing.
