Life isn’t about calm. It’s about how we handle the storm.”
This is yet another descriptive and heart rendering story about WW2. The determination and need Maureen Ritter has transports her to seek safety in a world of turmoil. I’ve read all of Eoin Dempsey’s books. I feel invested in the Ritter family! Kudos to the author for another gripping novel. The American Girl is a page turner!
