"I dint have very high expectations going in on this one but am somehow still not loving it
- the FMC is 22 but is written much older; it’s a weird vibe
- I get the tone of the FMC is resentment and skepticism, but it’s so disrespectful and stereotypical it’s souring thebook? Not even just about witches but about Salem MA in general
- the traumatic reason for this view is dumb and then borderline child neglect" — Oct 14, 2026 01:30PM

"So, Leigh Bardugo writes something and I read it.
However.
-MC is super flat so far, downright boring
-I didn’t like the random inclusion of Jewish as one of her personality traits? Hopefully that comes into play again?
-The atmosphere is just miserable. I understand she’s not meant to be having fun but damn; almost not fun for me either
-The boss is a shitty person, but hopefully not also a bad character" — Oct 13, 2026 02:56PM

“Do not follow me! Let's just be fabulously where we are and who we are. You be you and I'll be me, today and today and today, and let's trust the future to tommorrow. Let the stars keep track of us. Let us ride our own orbits and trust that they will meet. May our reunion be not a finding but a sweet collision of destinies!”
