This is a brave piece, (not unusual for him, he's always painfully honest), detailing with journalistic rigour his decision to become a 'John' after deciding that romantic love was not for him. I haven't finished it, so I don't know what conclusions he reaches, but so far it's a fascinating account of what for him was a perfectly logical series of decisions....more
