So many wonderful quoteables in this book, but this definitely narrows in on cis-het privilege in our society. A big takeaway for me is remembering to be more present in my day-to-day so that I can speak up when I witness bullying, -isms, or phobias. Choosing silence is just as dangerous and makes me complicit in these "fucked up power structures." I don't always need to have the answer, but literally just taking a physical stance alongside someone in need of support can go along way!
