I picked up this book almost immediately after the first one and I loved the podcast aspect of it, especially in the audiobook (maybe I should listen to true crime podcasts). Again, I love Pip and Ravi so much, their relationship and dynamic is so fuI picked up this book almost immediately after the first one and I loved the podcast aspect of it, especially in the audiobook (maybe I should listen to true crime podcasts). Again, I love Pip and Ravi so much, their relationship and dynamic is so fun to read about and it was interesting to see Pip's crime solving skills evolve from solving an old cold case with already available interviews and material to a newer case the police won't investigate and the pressure that comes with it. I just wish there was more about the "child brunswick" plot because I really enjoyed the twists and turns that came with it and it played a good part in rating this book, I liked the rest of the book but I couldn't bring myself to care about Jamie's disappearance as much as I would have wanted to. Overall I liked this book but the first one was better in my opinion and I am really excited about the third book!...more
