I don’t quite understand why Vanya makes such a big deal about this? Does he think Soren has ulterior motives, that he wants Solaria’s throne? To be so horrified that he had trusted Soren with his daughter, knowing full well how many times Soren has kept her safe. And it’s not like Soren willfully broke the Poison Accords, HE WAS SIX YEARS OLD, ESCAPING HIS BURNING HOME, MAYBE EVEN WITNESSING THE DEATH OF HIS MOTHER. Boy didn’t just saunter over to Warden Island and said “Sign me up!” If he’s going to be pissed off at anyone, be pissed off at their Star God for her machinations, but even then, it was the safest place for him at the time. As Soren has asked him before, would he rather Soren was dead?? I want to slap that crown off Vanya’s head.
