It reminded me about how my mind loves the idea of there being multiple gods and the powers of gods as a half human and half godly creature. I am always in awww with the battles they are held with madness going on and how I envy to have that lifestyle and powers that they have. It also helps me remember that I have always been a history lover and like to hear the cool stories about what stuff ACTUALLY happened that sometimes is mindblowing and I love all of it so much that when I read those books I never want to stop reading.
The quote that I choose from my book is: You may not be able to choose your parentage. But you can choose your legacy. This quote helps build character development most because that this one quote applies to them all and describes how and why they are all heros. They all didn't choose to be a child of a god and a mortal, but the hardships they faced with having one parent never there for them and a parent going mad because they can't handle life without their godly mates. These hardships mold their minds to where they make sure no one ever feels the way they did because they know how awful it felt and don't want anyone else to ever feel that. How this connects to my life is I see a lot of the children in elementary schools, and I witness how the affects of this work. I see the kids who were lucky and have great parents and how they are great kids as well, while I see other kids who weren't so lucky and aren't that great because their parents don't care so inturn they don't care.
So basically what the entire book is about is that we have two groups of demigods with two separate missions: The first group must make it to Athens By May 11th in order to stop the mother of the Earth Gaea from rising and the second group must get a giant statue known as the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood by May 11th in order to stop the Greek demigod and the Roman demigod camps from destroying each other, and while they do all this they must fight off every type of monster ever born from the depths of Tartarus. One thing I suggest is that anyone who wants to read this book must at least have a high school freshman level of reading and be ready to take your time to read this very very long book, and it doesn't hurt to be a greek mythology and history lover so that you may be able to enjoy the book even more. I would overall for sure recommend this book because it is very well done and it also has a great balance between hardcore battling and quite relaxing scenes that allow you to catch your breath and learn more about the plot and the story. ...more "

"I think how this book has been progressing is at a very balanced way between battles and slow moments which makes the book all that more interesting. It is one of the better books of the 5-book series as it has been revealing so many different secrets that we have even wondered since the first book in the first series.
