"Undying Queen's master glass worker? That's not how she spoke about Elroy before! I had the impression Elroy was struggling.

Also, is "the third spoke in the blessed wheel of the sacred Silver City" the standard way of talking about where you're from in Zilvaren? Because Saeris has never talked that way before.

Nor has she (understandably) held all that much respect for Madra or Madra's system before."

"Also, there's this thing where Tea and Vea are objectified but Geralt just seems...bored with it. Bored with their objectification and male gaze narration." Dec 08, 2025 04:14PM

C.S. Lewis
“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”
C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

We accept the love we think we deserve.
“We accept the love we think we deserve.”
Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Lemony Snicket
“Fate is like a strange, unpopular restaurant filled with odd little waiters who bring you things you never asked for and don't always like.”
Lemony Snicket

Jane Austen
“In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.”
Jane Austen, Pride And Prejudice

Martin Luther King Jr.
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
Martin Luther King Jr., A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches
