I read a review for this book and they said “they both collectively have the personalities of a single potato” and I can’t disagree. Dante and Vivian are nothing more than your generic brand of arranged marriage. I heard this was supposed to give gossip girl vibes and I’ve been bamboozled. I really appreciated Dante’s grovelling and how Vivian didn’t just immediately forgive him (she’s better than me bc I would’ve moved backed in right away).

I can’t tell if I love or hate this but the book moved really fast idk if the book was just short or that’s just the way it was written but. like it made it easy to read bc it was fast paced but on the other hand it was moving too fast. I was missing that slow burn that comes with enemies to lovers. like 30% in they were already besties which again made it easy to read but it made the story feel too easy.

I will say I do love a man with money. I wanna go to Bali and Paris and wear expensive clothes 🥲. also I really need to comment on this bc WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND PUTS SOY SAUCE ON THEIR ICE CREAM?!?!?!!?!!?!?? anywaysssss
