With what we know from history, the quote is amazing. But considering Hitler's propaganda machine succeeded in presenting a far from reality version of Nazi Germany during the 1936 Olympics many in attendance we dazzled. At that time, from what they saw, it isn't amazing. I believe it helped the USA hesitate to join the war effort of WWII.
