I like the exposition about the Cave and the Saint, yet I think that its weird that Alex didn't hear any rumours when he was in town earlier... Maybe this would have been a better story to bring up earlier than talking about all the chosen since the Saint lived in this town a 100 years ago. Especially since this is a cycle that repeats every hundred years so it’s kinda weird nobody saw this coming…
