"The Very Quiet Cricket by Eric Carle is a cute story about a cricket who could not find his voice. He searched and searched, trying to talk to other animals but he could not communicate with them. However, in the end he found someone who he could finally talk to. This is a good book to read to kids because it shows them that they may not be able to work with everyone but the people they can talk to makes it worth it." — Oct 17, 2011 12:48AM

"So far The Giver is a very interesting book. The society is very interesting and makes you question a lot about the society we are living in now. For example the strict rules and the way people are forced to be open. At first it didn't seem so different but now I am starting to notice things like the medicine and that they are minimizing the differences that makes me question the intent of society's strict behavior." — Nov 22, 2011 10:49AM
