So… we find out they’re mates only 21% into the book? I feel like if this had been revealed later into the book, it would have had much more impact but the fact that it was revealed so soon made their chemistry feel forced and created a lack of romantic tension between the two characters that most readers expect from a “enemies to lovers” trope.
