"The theme of this book is to be careful of who you trust. On page 378, John frees number Nine and decides to trust him automatically, even if he looks more like a savage at first. This proves that even if you just met someone, you can trust them on certain situations. In this case, Four only trusts Nine because they are the same race, but this can be applied to other situations too." — Mar 22, 2012 07:52PM

"As far as I can tell in this book, there seems to be a very distinct personality that Grubbs have. He's quite normal, but the fact that his curiousity goes as far as for tempering his uncle's work and things, maybe even his whole life. I don't know though, maybe the author made this intentional to make the storyline a bit more intense or it is part of the storyline overall." — May 31, 2012 06:50PM

"After reading this book, I can prove that the author's purpose in all my other updates are correct. Towards the end of the book, Max expresses how important it was to be with your friends/family. She ditches her "mom" to be off with her flock her true family, because she feels that they are much more in need of her than her mother needs of her." — Apr 07, 2012 05:52PM
