"I am really enjoying this book. I do not understand why Cindella doesn't see that Tow-Kaye does not want to get married at 17. If she loved him so much, she would be able to realize that things are going to fast for him. She is also already pregnant and now both of then have to grow up to be mature adults, for sake of the baby. "A theme of this book is trust. In this book all you can count on is trust. Nothing else. She had to trust what her gut was telling her to do to go live with her Aunt. Even though her choice may have been bad, she had to trust her mother to step up and take care of her children and protect them.
