So Katniss loves to hunt, so one day she comes home from hunting on the other side of the fence, and her mom dresses her up nice and neat to go down to see who the two people will be from the district 12 hunger games. They get down there and the girl who was pick was Prim Katniss's little sister so then Katniss volunteers instead of her sister because she doesn't want her to die. So then she has a week of practice. After that they go into the arena they start the games and and Katniss goes after a pack of supplies. She starts to fight for it then he coughs out blood. He is dead. Then the girl who killed him is coming after her instead Katniss shoots her and bam she is dead. To find out who wins you have to read the book.

I gave this book five stars because it was a lot of action, very descriptive, romantic, a lot of adventures, and a great read. I believe that there was a lot action because Katniss is running away from people, blowing stuff up, shooting, and hunting. Also, I believe that there is a lot of descriptive because when she told Peeta about the time that she got Prim her goat for her birthday she explained how the goat looked. Then again, I thought that there was a lot of romance between Peeta and Katniss in the cave when Katniss saved his life and when they started to kiss. There is so much adventure throughout this book because when the game makers make a new rule that two people could win if their in the same district so Katniss went out to look for Peeta. This book is a great read because of the character Katniss is like a great big sister, and a great hunter. I think Katniss is a great big sister because she offered to go to the hunger games so her sister wouldn't die. I also think she is a great hunter because she can kill a squirrel in the eye.
