Even now, I can trace a certain kind of physical confidence that I have all the way back to swim team. I am not a big person: five feet five on the days I remember to stand up straight. But the water is the one place I feel powerful.
I agree. I always have wondered where my confidence actually came from and in reading this book, I have to recognize that a portion of it has always come from the water.
