"Throughout the story I have notice that the Kano sisters are vague about what they say. Malta Kano told him that he would face changes in his life that may seem bad but will turn out good. Creta Kano paid Okada a visit but never explained why her story of her encounter with Noboru was different than what Malta explained to Okada because she disappeared. Both sisters seem to be tangled in a web of lies and deceit." Apr 29, 2012 08:21PM

"Poor Jane! Her parents died and now she has to live with her cruel aunt who treats her terribly. Jane has won my respect. She doesn't tolerate what others do to her and actually talks back to defend herself. She's not afraid to express how she's feeling, which separates her from the other women in her society. She's going to go to school and I can't wait until she leaves her aunt's manor and meets Mr. Rochester." Dec 04, 2011 05:31PM
