"George Ellicott's gift to Benjamin Banneker--books, a table, and some tools of the trade. Pinkney's book reminds me of what we offer to our students in the room. I like that Andrea Davis Pinkney shares the "whole" of the person being celebrated so far in the book. Hopes, dreams, interests as well as lasting legacy. A nice book so far." — Jul 08, 2012 07:40AM
