"Whew, not sure how I’m feeling about this one. I loved this authors previous book, but this one the characters are really unlikeable. Like every single person in this book is not very nice and always angry. I think the author took the “dirtbag” thing too far, and I’m sorry teens aren’t THIS angst and mean." — Apr 14, 2024 03:41PM

"Oh lord, “you’re so masculine” “people don’t believe me because I’m so straight passing” cry me a river. I don’t expect the author to know this but this is a masc for masc trope in the gay community that is really toxic, that “masc” gays say to really tell people I’m so masculine. This is not a real problem compared to queer folks who cant blend in with other cis folks." — Apr 07, 2024 04:17PM

"Mmm not sure if I’m feeling it so far. One of the MC’s is presented as this perfect person (intelligent, attractive, funny, nice, wealthy) while the other is prickly, a bit insecure, and honestly kind of a mess (which I like BTW). This dichotomy just jars me out of the story when it’s so different though because it reads like a diary fan fic." — Feb 26, 2024 08:50AM
