"Whew, not sure how I’m feeling about this one. I loved this authors previous book, but this one the characters are really unlikeable. I don’t expect the author to know this but this is a masc for masc trope in the gay community that is really toxic, that “masc” gays say to really tell people I’m so masculine. One of the MC’s is presented as this perfect person (intelligent, attractive, funny, nice, wealthy) while the other is prickly, a bit insecure, and honestly kind of a mess (which I like BTW).
