The characters in the book are some of the most developed and pure characters in all of narrative writing. And no matter how hard people try to hate these books and throw shade at this franchise, it will forever be one of the best book series’ known to man.

At just 25 to be able to dream up the characters and story featured in the Harry Potter franchise is almost unheard of. In a quick 7 years later the first book came out. It is amazing for anyone to write a franchise as well known as Harry Potter in around 25 years, but to do it in just 10 years is just mesmerizing. J.K. Rowling is one of the most humble, talented, and smart writers of our day. I can’t even begin to express how much joy these books have brought my family and families around the world. The boy who lived in the cupboard under the stairs has become a symbol for modern writing and writers around the world look up to Rowling and use her tactics in their own books. The reason I love writing and books so much is because of the Harry Potter franchise. I will forever be in awe of J.K. Rowling's writing ability.

My favorite character in the books and movies is by far Neville. Dumbledore said it best. “It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends.” Neville not only destroyed a Horcrux with the Sword of Gryffindor, but he is a constant reminder of the beauty and hope of the world and Hogwarts. He may not be the most talented wizard or some special character everyone thinks of along with the HP franchise, but he is an amazing symbol of courage and nobility in the wizarding world and a truly lovable character. Obviously you have the known characters, Harry, Ron, Voldemort, etc., but it is the background characters that make a difference in the franchise, the Cho Changs and Remus Lupins that really shape and change the world of Harry Potter. Rowling doesn’t care how big of a role the character will play, each one is scripted and created with a purpose and detailed elements. Deathly Hallows is not an exception, we get to meet Dumbledore's brother and Rowena Ravenclaw as well as many other lovely characters to build the final book of the Harry Potter series. And perhaps the most shocking and beautiful display of character creation, is learning about the past of Severus Snape. We get to learn about his young life and his never everlasting crush on Lily Potter. A truly heartbreaking and insane side-plot.

This is my favorite book of the Harry Potter series by far. They are all amazing and great books, but deathly hallows has to take the cake. It’s builded anticipation is crazy and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time reading it, and watching the movie. This is the only one of the Harry Potter books which I enjoyed more than the movie. And the movie was amazing so that’s saying something. This franchise is the best book series of all time in my opinion. To be able to write as many books (which were mostly around 600 pages, and one was 900) as 7 in just 10 years is merely impossible, but J.K. Rowling did it. She beat all odds and created one of the most memorable book franchises of all time. Bringing in nearly 1.3 billion dollars in the box office in just the UK and America, the Harry Potter franchise was a history maker.

I will never love a book series as much as I love the Harry Potter franchise, I want my kids to feel the same as well. I have the best argument in the world for anyone who says Twilight is better than Harry Potter. This franchise made history, memories, people cry, laugh, die inside a million times, and without a doubt made people's heart stop more than 50 times.
