"The plot so far is excellent save for a few things that are some pet peeves of mine:
-Pointless romance/romantic drama. So far, Kinnard isn't relevant and only serves to annoy me.
-Dialogue that sounds like they're reading a script written by a fifth grade drama student. Nobody talks like that. Literally no one.

"This book is fantastic at explaining the thought process of someone with a “broken” mind. At about this point in the book, however, things seem to plateau. I’ll have to force myself to continue. It feels like the story has been told and the last 25% is kind of... an explanation, maybe? An afterthought?
