She loves her brother but gets really frustrated with him and his often runaways. Her parents always send her to fetch him. He is always in the same place counting the same rocks. Often times he is very hard to drag home so she has to bribe him or sit and pretend to count rocks as well. There is something that has really caught my interest in the book. There is an underlying secret. There is something that she and many others are trying to hide from the school. But when she catches the administration going through her locker she loses it and bolts out of the school. This secret keeps me wanting to read more. I need to find out what she and the others did! - Allyson Bryant

Update: I am reading Perfect Escape by: Jennifer Brown. I still haven’t gotten to the part where i find out what Kendra and her classmates did. I do know however that it involves her calculus final. I speculate something about getting the answers out to a lot of people. Right now i’m at a part where she finds grayson (her brother) at a place that is all too familiar to the both of them. As they are driving home she decides to take a little detour. The detour maybe a little bit longer than she or grayson had expected. Kendra is at a point in her life where she feels like the only way to deal with her problems is to run away from them. In all of our lives there has been a time when we thought, “if i run away from my problems and hide them, they will go away.” in life this however is not the way to get away from our problems. Sometimes we have to face our problems head on to solve them. There have been plenty of times in my life where i wanted to hide from my problems and ignore them. Now as i have grown to see that that is childish, and not how you handle things. I know try my hardest to try and resolve any issue or problem that’s bothering me. This has helped me grow and mature as a person. I however am not a really serious person, i feel that living your life constantly stressed if a waste of time. You only have a limited amount of time to make the absolute most of it. Just know things always get better, i know that’s cliche but it’s true.
