It didn’t seem to matter how talented, intelligent or independent a woman was, she was still seen as the property of a man, to do with as he pleased.
We’ve come a long way from this mindset, but it is still very much still there in today’s society. I’m hopeful that the generations after us will finally stop being this misogynistic.
