For some reason, this quote got me really emotional. Having been depressed and hearing “We’re still alive” brought me up a little. And “do as much as we can as soon as we can” I found somehow inspiring. You may feel depressed over something, or that your world is ending because of some Ixtl that made its way into your ship. But, with some determination, you can get rid of it. This isn’t even to mention how Von Grossen recovered from having the eggs removed. Even in the moments where you think you’re dead or even worth nothing more than dying, there is a recovery.
