I honestly don't know how to describe my journey with this book because it literally felt like a rollercoaster, pulling me in every direction at different times and sometimes even making me feel scared, excited and happy simultaneously! I was initially a bit afraid that it would drag a bit because of the size of the book but that was absolutely not the case, the story's dynamic was perfect with things happening at the perfect pace, there was nothing that seemed to sudden, everything flowed together extremely well.

The characters were my absolutely favourite in A Court of Mist and Fury, and there were more of them which always makes things more interesting, I loved the Inner Circle and although I was a bit unsure about Rhysand in A Court of Thorns and Roses I all but declared my undying love for him in this book. His character was a bit ambiguous in the first book but in the second we were given snippets about his life and his personality that reveal his true self and I couldn't help but compare him with Tamlin, it doesn't really need saying after my little tirade about Rhysand, but Rhysand's character trumps Tamlin 100%! We got to know the many sides of him in ACOMAF and I loved all of them. His interaction with Feyre throughout the book was also a breath of fresh air when compared to Tamlin's in ACOTAR but I can't say more on that without spoiling anything. I loved Mor and Amren and I'd love to know more about Cassian and Azriel and see how the romantic relationships which are hinted blossom more in the third book (which I have to wait a YEAR FOR! *sob*) Although there were characters I loved, there are also characters I hope die a brutal death by the end of the trilogy because they're pure evil and I hope there's no redemption arc coming because I don't think most of them deserve it.

The character development of Feyre was also a highlight of the book because it didn't seem like Maas was trying to constantly emphasise her development, instead it was done in a subtle yet effective way. It felt like she was a whole other person by the end of the book, the same can be said of Rhysand who I completely miscalculated initially. I also like reading the descriptions of the different courts and even the places within certain courts, Maas has a way of describing settings that is extremely effective and I hope we get to see more courts in the upcoming book.

I'm just going to finish by saying FEYSAND is everything and when I was reading the last chapters me heart was going to beat right out of my chest because of the thrill and the twists.
