Although the events in this book happened a few years before my birth, it related closely to me through my parents. Mr. Wallace’s narration of Americans thoughts as well as those of the world was so real and moving. The horror of the atomic bomb faced such controversial opinions and I appreciated the fact that he gave those various opinions a voice. I highly recommend others read this book to get a perspective on a very difficult time in our history.
