I highlighted this passage because it's something my sister and I speak about often since our father passed and our Grandparents home that has been a solid beacon for us growing up was torn down. I have my Dads ashes, which means the world to me, but after I pass, my grandkids won't even have met him so they will probably go into the trash and it's just so wild to me how we each have such extensive stories and lives and after our grandkids, nobody will know any of that information.. or us.
