This conversation was only halfway completed. This is not a complete relationship. The individuals only listen to each other, hearing each other only half way. Sure this works well when they are being a couple and nice to each other, but apart, they are trashy and not able to communicate. They are aggressive. Finally, we learn that arguing over the things they were arguing about apparently didn't matter when they both found something that they could agree on. It's interesting that this can occur in a play called hong kong.
