When I first lost my mother, I kept picking up my phone and starting to call her before I remembered she was gone. Then, I’d listen to old voicemails that I’d saved just to hear her.
This resonated deeply with me. I lost my dad going on 4 years. And I still listen to his voicemails. At first, hearing his voice made me cry, now it makes me smile.
