It was never created to be something bad, to be ashamed of or to be used to objectify the female body in order to sell a hamburger or a car.

God-defined sexuality was designed to be beautiful and to reflect true intimacy and relationship with Him the Creator. Kristen and Bethany share their own past struggles of sexual desires and their secret struggles with porn, erotica, and masturbation. Along, with practical ways to fight these struggles and lean more into God’s truth through the His word.

I liked how they opened my eyes to the World’s lies about sexual design and what popular magazines tell us about “do what feels right” or if you love him show him. They showed me God’s true design for sex and intimacy as being meant to be celebrated within the covenant love called marriage.

Kristen and Bethany also discuss the biblical definition of feminity and womanhood. That they are strong, beautiful, confident, intelligent, and more, and not to use are bodies seductively in a way that objectifies who God created us to be. Our bodies were not created to be used to sell burgers or wear bikini tops and jean cutoffs in Country music videos. “We were made for intimacy.” I challenge you to buy your copy and discover God’s definition and design for sexuality and intimacy and turn away from how the world has defined sexuality.

This book would make a great book study choice for church youth groups, college women’s ministries, or just to study on your own. If you are struggling with sexual sin, lust, or the thoughts in your mind this book is for you.
