This book was everything to me. As a person that lives with chronic back pain Catherine Cowels got this so right. It makes me wonder if she has chronic pain or if someone she loves does. I felt represented and seen and it meant the world to me. The love story and suspense was amazing. But it was Laken’s feelings and the things she said about the doctors and just living with pain that got to me. I wish it wasn’t over. I will definitely be reading this book again!
