Yup! Same as when you always think negative thoughts or carry around a "doom and gloom" attitude, nothing ever positive or happy comes your way. I loved these books...can't wait for book 3!!

I just finished book 3 and woah. Different than the first 2, and the switching of perspective got confusing at times, but I enjoyed it.
