Another good story for Dan Shepherd and again, two stories in one book, so you have to make sure that you keep reading properly and not jump around all over the place, I felt for Dan when confronted with a SAS soldier who knew of him and it was a difficult decision for Dan but there is a definite bond within the SAS from what I have read in all the books so far, but I am beginning to get to the end of the series, and I shall miss Dan Shepherd he is an excellent man with great morals, the only thing I cannot sort out is if he is black or white, but it does not matter as he is a first class guy, I do not think the Au Pair is the girl for him and he needs to find a nice girl somewhere else, I think the Psycologist he was made to see is more his cup of tea, not the Button lady and there have not really been any other candidates so far, so I hope that Stephen Leather will give him a lovely lady to ride off into the sunset with as he deserves it and I hope his Son survives his new job. Great stories.
