A lot of people think this is the worst book of them all because its too long and Harry is pretty annoying most of the time. Another common critique is that the first 10 chapters are just simply boring but i honestly disagree with them all.

I love this book, i love the time they spend in Grimmaulds Place and i even like the time we spend at Privet Drive and i totally understand why Harry is mad all the time. Umbridge is a great villain and maby the best villain in the whole series. From the moment we get to see her first at the hearing and later during her speech at Hogwarts i HATE her. She is literally the worst!
One of the best chapter in the book is Hagrids Tale. I love the way he tells them how he went to the Giants, tried to persuade them to join his and dumbledores cause, and his home journey.
Then we get to the Battle of The Department of Mysteries. This is in my opinion probably the second best fight scene in the whole series (including the battle between Voldemort and Dumbledore later in the book). There are a lot of different spells we have never seen and never will again and the whole department is just an AWESOME place. I wish we could spend more time there. Then after the Departmet of Mysteries we get the fight between Dumbledore and Voldemort, we finally get to see Dumbledore his powers and its definatly clear to see why he is the only one Voldemort ever feared. How he calls him simply Tom and is straight up refusing to call him Voldemort gives an idea (in my eyes) that he is the stronger one. I love how Dumbledore uses the water and the gold statues to his advantage, to attack Voldemort and Bellatrix and to protect Harry. Its just awesome to read.
I obviously like this book a lot and i cant WAIT to finaly read the sixth book (which is my personal favorite)....more
