"Let's be honest: I read all of the Art of Comic Books not too long ago, so I'm skipping chapters here to avoid repetition. I got this book to have more insight from well-known pros regarding editing and pitching, so that's what I'm jumping to now. Not skipping those parts and trying to just power through made me just not read the book at all and I'm amending that problem now. I'll go back at a later date." — Mar 29, 2017 04:40PM

“When we hold each other, in the darkness, it doesn't make the darkness go away. The bad things are still out there. The nightmares still walking. When we hold each other we feel not safe, but better. "It's all right" we whisper, "I'm here, I love you." and we lie: "I'll never leave you." For just a moment or two the darkness doesn't seem so bad.”
