Living in South Florida, that’s a quote I can “taste”. The first book I read by Ms Keri Lake was Master of Salt & Bones, got hooked wanting more. Turned to the Juniper Unraveling Series. Yes, I agree with Ms Lake, this series is NOT for everyone. But starting with Six and ending with Titus, the series is devastatingly emotional, painful, but also hopeful. Abundant twists & turns: what you may think is true is not. What you expect or predict to happen, Ms Lake plays with the opposite. Will I read the Juniper Unraveling series again? I don’t know; I don’t think I can withstand the sadness and pain. I will, however, reread Master if Salt and Bones. If you can compare reading a book as a chess match, play with Ms. Keri Lake. She’s a master!
