An interesting read that presents a distopian future of a word disrupted by global warming. Even though the cause of the warming is not man made it serves as a warning for what lies ahead if we do not take serious steps to cut back on greenhouse gases. I would have enjoyed it more if the author had avoided using highly arcane and frequently antiquated vocabulary. If I hadn't read it on my iPad and been able to look up the meaning of a huge number of words at the touch of a finger I'd have had no idea what he they meant and I have a very good vocabulary. Frequently it seemed as though he used words just to show off that he knew them even though they were actually quite inapropriate. Aside from that it was a good read and quite thought provoking.
