What made me want to read this book is My love for the first two movies and books I read them in previous grades and really enjoyed them so I decided to read the third one (although I already saw the third movie) I was expecting the book to give me much more possibly different information than the movie because my old teacher always used to tell me the movie leaves out a lot of details that are in the book. My expectations were met but there was a couple of different things than the movie. About the book, it follows a girl named Katniss who has defeated the hunger games and shouldn't be in the current position she is in her home is destroyed and the rest of her district along with it a lot of people died because of her and she is kind of going crazy because of it and although she is not mentally stable or so they send her out to kill the president to end the madness. The main characters are Katniss, Gale, Peeta, Finnick, president snow, Haymitch, and rose. The main characters forward the story and they appear very often and they to sum it up they Have the spotlight most of the time. The conflict is person v person this is because Katniss blames herself for all the deaths and them blowing up all the districts and then another person v person because Katniss and all her helpers are trying to take down president snow (so it's like person or persons vs Society but not all of society it's complicated). My favorite character is probably Gale he is strong and has great knowledge on how to hunt and kill people and a society he lives in I think he needs it and he is very great friends with Katniss and Peeta. I think people should take away the circumstances of the characters and really dig deep on their decisions and how they try to better the outcome for them or others and that they are pretty much in an apocalypse or to put it better the end game everyone is rubble all they really can do now is fight. I cannot relate to any in story characters but I think it would be cool if I could. I cannot relate to anyone because I am not under nor anywhere close to the circumstances they are under maybe if I was or even close to it I might be able to relate but I cannot relate to anyone. I really enjoyed the book especially after reading the first two so I got a chance to finish up the series. Some strengths of suzzane are she is a Good writer she knows how to portray characters emotions into words and weaknesses are that she was extra wordy in some chapters and she didn't need to be. I would explanations where they were due I would recommend this to people because I enjoyed the book myself and only if they read the first two. If you liked this book you might like bird box by Josh malorman. Suzzane Collins has the three Hungers games under her belt but I haven't read anything or heard anything else by her. This book is the third in the series and I have read the other 2 as I previously mentioned. All three books have movies and they are all kind of gory a lot of killing and blood. ...more "
