All of Cornwell’s books in this series are just absolutely amazing and enthralling. You can’t put them down. After the first book I was hooked. Cornwell has created a wonderful character in Uhtred. And as you read the books you fall in love with Uhtred and just cheer for him when he’s succeeding and lament with him when he fails. I’m on the last book and I’ll be sad to finish this series. What a talented man Cornwell is. You really feel that you are there with Uhtred, in his thoughts.
