The interesting thing about this idea is how often this culturism comes up in day to day conversation and we (the 'in-group') seem to agree that yes “so so country doesn’t have good food” “... they don’t know how to dress over here” “... people over there listen to the worst music”. Against what standards are we judging these other cultures? If not European standards that created ideas like racism in the first place, then maybe our own - but then again who are we and what makes us think we are culturally superior and in a place to judge a country, culture or race we probably know nothing about?
