I've reached this stage of my life early (so lucky) and this made me feel worse about it, not better. It seems like the acceptability of this framed by diet culture. Am I being too harsh on the writer? Should I just go and admire my plump cheeks and not worry about the fact the weight gain is concentrated on my waistline?
