" I'm super conflicted on which way to go with this. Either read the 2nd book and be super upset or, not waste my time and find something that will spark my curiosity to the fullest. I was intrigued wanting to read the first book The black witch, yet nothing I thought was going to happen in this book happened. Why even touch on the fact that she has powers , if in fact all three books she never even uses them "only know this through reviews"??? I wanted to read this because I thought she would become a hero and save everyone from hateing each other and using her powers for good. To become more powerful then a level 5 yet, nothing happens but blah, blah ,blah.(i further explain below) What happened to the baby that was born to the neighbor the only mention of him or her was in the beginning. since I thought that was the main reason for writing the damn story where did they go? The black witch went off on so many arrangements it didnt need and lost focused of the base line. it should have been titled what happens in high school. I'm so confused and so pissed off she never used her powers the whole damn book. Wasting forever waiting for it to get good. Now I'm done with it looking at the reviews from the next book and she still doesn't get to use her powers? I'm Royally upset , and feel like I spent mad money on false advertising of this book. Don't say she looks and has powers of a black witch and the next is gonna rise up , turn her good and loving people not of her race, give her a wand she never freaking uses and hint that she's powerful through the whole book but never ever uses it. When in fact it has absolutely nothing to do with it uhgg and she never uses powers ever. She's basically just bullied through high school like everyone else in the real world. The first couple chapters got me excited when the neighbor appers and gives her the white wand "how did she get it " "I thought she was evil yet was able to hold the wand?" then lost me to where I was just too mad to keep going wasting my time on crap... "oh my everyone is falling in love with each other and im still weak sitting her crying". I feel like these little hints were just thrown in there to make it a "fantasy book" yet never really becomes fantasy. I don't know I guess I'm just pissed I never got to read her use her powers.

My view of this book,
She should have left her uncle's home with her aunt, found out she has powers lots of power, an unheard of lvl 6 because she had some of the tree (can't remember the name of the people they killed after conceiving with them ) blood still in her veins she could use the power of the trees to unearth unbelievable things , she was to be a good witch and followed by the watchers to insure of it. She was to rise up with the baby boy and mother along with the revolution of mixed breeds and rebel pure breeds to fight of the prejudicial and political bullshit happening in this book. Defeat her aunt and have people come to terms that everyone is needed in there world not just one superior race. All the while loving whoever she wants "she was rebel anyways" what did it matter. Also using her magical powers in cool new revised ways throughout the book. Takeing us to a diffrent realm and encasing us in magical eligninment. While finding out winter is a pure white good creature and was created for good not bad as everyone thought.. uhgg

Instead I got a girl who gets beat up alot , never stands up for herself, has everyone else do it for her because "she NEVER uses the powers in her body although through the whole damn book she feels coursing through her veins." Is to scared to be in love with a diffrent person even though they both think the same and actually like each other. oh yeah forgot to mention she has a guy whom shes forced to be around, is not diffrent from her , who wants to be with her just to make an evil bitch unhappy whom are both narcissistic and tease the mc throughout the book also he dosent give to shits about the MC yet she don't see that. She only sees people wanting her and needing her in which she has never felt before living in nowhere land so she is craving all the attention , it's not love ...uhggg

Now you want me to read a book on how she goes back in forth with the same two guys "let me guess " ... she chooses luke ... uhhggg I'm so mad this story could have been so damn good ... whatever....
