I couldn’t take it in. I couldn’t believe that the line between life and death was so flimsy, and all that separated the two was the space of a single breath.
This sentence came up and hit me between the eyes. It describes so very accurately that moment of passing between two worlds. Flimsy. And it took me back again to the moment my husband died and then tears flowed.
