The kids lower their arms and sit tight in the cart. When he comes to help them out, they wriggle and squeal and refuse to pry their hands from the bar. “AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN!” Zed is delighted. His mouth’s all sherbet fountains. “Again?” The children have the right idea. They know when to demand more and when to let go, when to have the world fling them and when to fight back.”
