Read Jennifer Harris's book when my wife was pregnant. Didn't expect to find a chapter on loss, on helping mothers when a baby doesn't make it. Seemed out of place then. Doesn't now.
Some grief has no funeral. No name. Just a husband watching his wife hurt in ways the world doesn't see.
Harris saw them. She sat with them. Gave dignity to the silence.
"The love remains."
