Too true - I read both - they both have their place and time. A Kindle has the advantage when travelling and holds many books and is easy to add to, but there is nothing quite like a bookshop and holding a physical book or rummaging through the shelves and piles. The smell is wonderful too.

I am the same I read both, my kindle is always with me like a good friend,I can whip it out whenever I have to wait in line or just having a quick break at work,Books I keep at home for those long leisure moments.
It's the best I've ever seen it said. Leave it to Stephen Fry.
However, I have had to recommend the Kindle for some friends of mine who a: are hard of seeing as they can then increase the font or even listen (badly recorded - that does need serious upgrading); or b: have physical ailments which mean that holding a book is hard and carrying one around in a handbag is even worse. Horses for courses sometimes.
