Status Updates From The Old Man and the Sea

Once the boy and old man were done chatting, the old man and boy went to bed. The old man had a dream about being in Africa and the beaches. The old man never dreams about women, ex wife, occurrences, fish, fights but rather dreams about places now and lions on the beach. Soon after waking up, he visits the boy to wake him up, then proceeds to the ocean to go fishing by himself. The old man sets up 4 rods diff depths

Yo I kinda hate it ;( poor fish! I don’t understand how he could admire the fish so much and so want to kill it. It’s very cruel actually really unpleasant to read. And I also don’t understand the quality of the writing. It’s very allegorical and plain but not in a good way?
