Status Updates From The Little Drummer Girl

i went into this worried about The Politics, but i need not have, so far, tentatively, at least i think? maybe? its zionists are not pretty.

fun fact, a middle-aged male neighbor thought it was a good idea to loan me this book when i was twelve. for the record that's probably too young for le carré. rereading it now to see if the ending still fucks me up as badly, i still remember the cold hollowed-out feeling i had, staring at the last page.
